Bear Hunting
Discover thrilling Spring Bear hunts with Wild Alberta High Country Hunts. Our spot-and-stalk hunts are conducted from May 1st to June 15th, approximately 2.5 hours northwest of Grande Prairie, Alberta, in WMU 525.
Accommodations:
Enjoy comfortable accommodations with power, excellent food, and daily showers at our camp. Our heated bunkhouses and mess hall ensure a cozy stay. Transportation options include driving (accessible with a 4×4 vehicle) or airport pick-up/drop-off at Grande Prairie.

Pricing:
Spring Bear hunt prices start at $5300.00 USD, inclusive of license, tags for two bears, and a wolf license. This also covers food, lodging for a 6-day hunt, and a 2-on-1 guide. Upgrade to a 1-on-1 guide for an additional $1500.
Booking:
Flexible payment options are available, with a minimum deposit of $2000.00 required in the year of the hunt. The balance can be paid upon arrival at camp or 30 days before the hunt begins, via check, cash, or wire transfer.
Additional Services:
We offer professional trophy skinning and taxidermy services, including tanning, skull cleaning, rugs, half-mounts, and full-size mounts. Non-included items are gratuity, alcoholic beverages, and taxidermy services.
What to Bring:
- Personal hygiene items
- Sleeping bag (pillow if you so choose otherwise, we have lots)
- Rifle and ammunition
- Camouflage clothing of your preference
- Good waterproof boots with some ankle support
- Binoculars
- Shooting sticks if you have special ones you are used to
