Our Moose hunts
take place in Northern Alberta. Approximately 2½
hours north of Grande Prairie. The Moose have been rising
in population due to our lack of hard winters. The size
range average from 35 to high 40. and have
harvested more mature bulls in the 50 to 55
range in the past couple of years. We offer great opportunities
during the rut to bag one of these monsters. Our success
rate in 2007 and 2006 was 90% . Everyone had an opportunity
to take a bull, they either missed their shot or chose
to pass up the bull to see if they could get a bigger
one.
Rut moose
hunts are the last week of September and first week
of October. These moose hunts are mainly spot and stalk
hunting out of tree stands over springs and licks. There
are a lot of natural mineral licks and watering holes
in our hunting area which provides excellent opportunity
to see a lot of moose during your hunt.
Our 6 day rifle
moose hunt is $6,200.00 all inclusive (tags, license,
food, lodging, and guide) No Trophy Fees! Included with
our moose hunts is a free wolf and coyote licence, if
you shoot a wolf there is a $1000.00 trophy fee
