Trapline Adventures
Trapping for fisher, martin, weasel, wolverine, squirrel,
mink, lynx, coyote and wolf.
We will teach you the techniques and the different sets
for each animal so you can actually catch your own animal
on our trapline. We will set up a bait sight for the
wolves, if opportunity occurs we can sit at the bait
sights to try to shoot one or snare them along with
the coyotes. We will be taking you on an adventure everyday
checking the traps on the trap line, never knowing what
could be in the traps make it a very exciting time.
You will most likely see moose, elk and deer almost
every day while working the trapline.
We get around on the trap line with snowmobiles or ATV'S
depending on the snow load. The area we trap is in northern
Alberta just north of Grande Prairie in the Saddle Hills.
We can stay at the rustic trapping cabin in the middle
of the trap line or stay at our new lodge we have just
built mainly for our spring bear hunts but still in
the area for our trapping season.An extra bonus is not
only are we a licenced trapper, guide, we are also licensed
taxidermists so we can take care of your trophys for
you if you so choose to mount some of the animals you
trap.
Daily rates
for the trapline adventure are $500.00US plus 2.5% tax.
Food and accomodations are included in the price as
well as some complimentary pelts of the animals you
harvest. Items not included in the price are taxidermy
or tanning of your animals, harvest,permits, shipping
of your hides or mounts, and alcohol.
